These are commitments, not marketing copy. If we fall short of any of them, tell us at support@getoh.co and we will put it right.
The one that matters most
You have the right to be believed. Many women arrive here having raised this with a doctor before and been told to relax, to have a glass of wine, or that it's just stress. That is not care. Your clinician will take what you report seriously and treat it as the physiological concern it usually is.
Your rights
- 01Respectful, non-judgmental careYou will not be shamed, lectured, or dismissed. Not about your symptoms, your sex life, your body, your relationship, or how long you waited to ask.
- 02Care without discriminationRegardless of race, ethnicity, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital or relationship status, or ability to pay.
- 03To know who is treating youThe name, credentials, and licensing state of the clinician reviewing your case, available on request at any time.
- 04Informed consentA plain-language explanation of any recommended treatment, its risks, its likely benefits, its regulatory status, and the alternatives — before you decide.
- 05Honest information, including bad newsIf the evidence is limited, we will say so. If a treatment may not work for you, we will say that too, before you pay rather than after.
- 06To refuse or stop treatmentAt any time, for any reason or none, without having to justify it and without affecting how you are treated.
- 07To ask questions and get real answersNot a copy-pasted reply. If your clinician doesn't know, they will say so.
- 08Privacy and confidentialityYour information is protected under HIPAA and our Notice of Privacy Practices. We do not sell it, and we do not share health information with advertisers.
- 09Access to your recordsRequest a copy at any time, generally within 30 days, electronically if you prefer.
- 10To know the cost up frontEvery charge disclosed before you are billed. No surprise fees, no charges you did not agree to. See Cancellation & Refunds.
- 11To cancel easilyOne click, any time, with no phone call and no retention gauntlet.
- 12A second opinion, or a different clinicianAsk and we will arrange it where we can, or tell you honestly if we cannot.
- 13To be told when we're not the right answerIf a clinician thinks you need in-person evaluation or a different specialty, they will tell you and point you somewhere useful — even though that means we don't get your business.
- 14To complain without consequenceComplaining will never affect your care. See below.
Your responsibilities
Two, and the first one is genuinely important:
- Tell us the truth about your health. Your full medical history, every medication and supplement you take, and any allergies. Asynchronous care depends entirely on what you report. Leaving something out — especially a nitrate medication or a heart condition — can make treatment unsafe.
- Tell us if something changes, including new medications, a new diagnosis, pregnancy, or a side effect.
If something goes wrong
Medical emergency
Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department. OH! is not monitored continuously and must never be used to report an emergency.
A concern about your care
- Message your clinician through your account. Most things are resolved here.
- Email support@getoh.co and we will respond within [1] business day.
- Contact your state medical board. You may do this at any point, and you do not need to come to us first. [INSERT STATE-SPECIFIC BOARD CONTACT DETAILS AS REQUIRED.]
We will not retaliate against you for making a complaint, at any stage. Your care will not change, your account will not be closed, and no one will treat you differently.
